Worked examples of the jobs most integrations need.
This is a worked example, not a supported connector. Interchange does not build or run connectors. You own the code you write from it, and the support boundary applies. Read the support boundary.
Match a price list to IX IDs
Send a supplier price list or your own parts list, get an IX ID for every row we can identify, and a short list of rows a person must decide.
Keep item codes in sync with the change feed
Poll the change feed with a cursor, or take webhooks, so a correction or a withdrawal reaches your item codes inside the 24 hours the terms allow.
Handle a retired IX ID
Tell a retired item, which still resolves and points to its successor, from a withdrawn one, which must not be shown at all.
Show equivalents on a product page
Render the equivalents of an item on your own product page, in the order given, with safety flags, the disclaimer and a link to who stocks it.
Relay safety flags
Pass on safety flags wherever a person sees an item: on screen, in a spreadsheet, on a quote, or in what you give an assistant.
