Privacy

Interchange is operated by DataShift Pty Ltd (ABN 49 691 657 468), which is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page covers the Interchange website while it is in its pre-launch stage. It will be extended before search and accounts open.

What we collect

• If you join the list: your name, business, work email address and the role you chose.
• When you visit: the basic request details any web server records, such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. These are kept in our hosting provider’s logs.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

To email you when Interchange opens, to set up your supplier listing if you ask for one, and to keep the site secure and working.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share an individual’s details with suppliers or other third parties for their own use.

Where it is kept

The list is stored in a database in Google Cloud’s Sydney region (australia-southeast1), encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the list, email hello@interchangeparts.com.au. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
